Another Photo of Me....

Mom took this picture of me last night - she took it with the camera in her cell phone instead of her digital camera.  Those cell phones with cameras in them are amazing, aren't they?  Anyway, she loved the way this picture turned out and insisted that I share it with you, so I promised to do it when I got on the computer this morning.  Hope you like it!

Mom Brought Out the Camera Again....

Mom brought out the camera again.  I don't know why she wants to take so many pictures of me, but she does. I usually have to just endure it to make her happy.  Anyway, here's a couple that she took today....

I hope you like them - it seemed to satisfy Mom to get these, though she didn't seem overly pleased that I closed my eyes in the first picture.  I don't like the flash, I wish she would understand that!

This Morning

Mom wasn't too happy with me this morning.  She was at the table in the den eating breakfast and I came down the hallway and was making noise to let her know I was there and wanted her attention.

I got it alright, she came back to where I was and when I sprinted back into our bedroom, she shut the door forcing me to stay inside.

Later, she opened the door so she could retrieve her stuff before she left for work.  She left the door open and before she left, she told me she closed me in because I was making noise and she didn't want me disturbing the lady we live with - she wasn't sure if Auntie was awake yet or not and if she wasn't, Mom didn't want me waking her up.

I don't think Auntie would've been upset, but I guess it was Mom's decision to shut me in.

My Mom Loves Me!

This morning before Mom left to head in to work she spent a few minutes playing with me and she made sure to let me know she loves me.  Well, I love her too!

She made sure to leave me some food and water this morning.  I think we're having company for Thanksgiving next week.  Some of the family members of the lady we live with are coming to visit.  They come rather often so I'm used to them being around - the group includes 2 teenage boys.

Geaux LSU!  Mom's a big fan of the Tigers!!

A Missing Claw....

When Mom came home last night, she took her shoes off and was walking around in her sock feet and something stuck her in her foot.  When she went to looking to see what it was, she discovered it was one of my claws and it was not attached to me!  She finally checked my feet over and found none of them missing so she came to the conclusion that a new claw had grown in and pushed the old one out of there.

Heck - I could've told her that - if she had only asked!

Playing with Mom

I was playing with Mom [a/k/a my "human guardian"] earlier tonight and I got hold of her hand a little harder than I thought.  She complained and first asked me if she could have her hand back.  I let go of it, but grabbed her thumb.  Next thing I know, she's complaining and asking if she can have her thumb back.

These humans - they're so sensitive.  Then again, maybe it's true that my claws can hurt.  Guess I need to remember that when I'm playing with Mom.

Mom's Birthday Gifts

My Mom [a/k/a "human guardian"] had a milestone birthday yesterday [Nov. 16].  Today she went to lunch at Cracker Barrel with some friends of hers.  She said that my Auntie Vicki, Auntie Michele and Auntie Rose were there with her.

Anyway, when she came home, she had birthday gifts from Auntie Rose and Auntie Michele.  The gift from Auntie Rose was a beautiful photo frame.  She had a print of the photo I posted of me in the post "I Am Sukiey" and she chose to put that picture in the frame and has it sitting on one of the tables here in our bedroom.

Auntie Michele gave her some good smelling soaps.  Maybe she'll use them and smell really good when she plays with me.

Thanks Auntie Rose and Auntie Michele!
