Cats grace us with their affection. . .  When they curl up on your lap, it's because they think you're worth spending time with.  When they climb onto your shoulder, it's because they trust that you will carry them safely.  When they lie across your magazine, it's because they can't believe their best friend would rather look at this flat, boring thing than their sleek, gorgeous, purring selves.
