Ins-purr-ation for Cat Lovers

Cats do care.  For example, they know instinctively what time we have to be at work in the morning and they wake us up twenty minutes before the alarm goes off.  -- Michael Nelson

Ins-purr-ation for Cat Lovers

Oh, catnip!  What intoxicating appeal
Doth this herbacious perennial impart!
In loving homes I chase this madcap plant;
While families gather, laughing,
I love to raise a fuss.

Ins-purr-ation for Cat Lovers

On loving puss, come hither and purr
Let me stroke your soft, warm fur.
Let me gaze into your loving eyes
How great their depth....how very wise.
What comfort your dear presence brings
I forget all sad, unhappy things.
Let no man live without this peace
Proof that God's wonders never cease.

Ins-purr-ation for Cat Lovers

Cats almost always make perfect landings, no matter the height from which they jump or rumble.  The same can't be said for us.  Even if we've covered every contingency, we make errors in judgement.  Work on your next project with wisdom born of humility.

Mom's Not Happy With Me....

Imagine that!  I kept waking her up last night and pestering her.  She didn't like that and called me a "cotton pickin'" cat!

What I was after I eventually got....

I wanted her to fill my feeder back up, change out my water tank with fresh water and clean my litter box.  I guess maybe I should've let her sleep last night and then go after her about it when she woke up this morning.

After all, she did fill up my feeder, replenish my water tank with fresh water and she also changed out the litter in my litter box.

However, we cats operate on the theory that it never hurts to ask for what we want....

Ins-purr-ation for Cat Lovers

According to a recent poll of the worldwide cat population, the average feline does indeed feel superior to its human "owners."  In fact, 53 percent of cats, spanning a range of species, expressed a strong belief that they would one day control the world.  - - Carol Smith

Ins-purr-ation for Cat Lovers

When the cat's away, the mice will play.

Does our play take into account that "the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth" [2 Chronicles 16:9 NIV]?
