Got An Update....

When Mom got home last night she had a stack of mail, so she had been to the post office.  She said she was met at the kitchen door by Rusty - so he was in the house.  She was glad she put the garage door down after she pulled her car into the garage and parked it.  She said that otherwise he would've probably dashed out the door and our housemate would've had to get in her car and go chase him down and bring him back.  It was already cold by that time so she wouldn't have appreciated having to do that. 

Mom ate the last of the pizza she had gotten Sunday night when she came home last night.  Before she finally went to bed, she wrote down the numbers of her prescriptions so she could order refills this morning.  She called the pharmacy this morning and talked to a tech and placed the refill order.  She said that the tech told her that they didn't have a new prescription on file for one of her meds, so she authorized them to call her doctor and get a new one.  Mom plans to pick them up on Thursday so she can get them in 2010 instead of having to pay her prescription deductible immediately in 2011. 

When she got up this morning it was 22 degrees under clear skies according to her computer.  That was cold!  It was 21 on Monday morning.  Eric says that a warm up is coming - today's high was 53; he forecasts tonight's low at 34 - that's an improvement! 

Mom got to work and learned that her co-worker wouldn't be coming in today as scheduled.  He had to babysit his girlfriend's son.  He was scheduled off yesterday she said.
